Hi readers, today we present to you the delicacies of each country in South America.
Colombia:
1. Wafers with Arequipe
Thin and crispy gallet, fill of arequipe and sometimes this have cheese or jam, they are typical of the eastern andes.
2. Cocadas
Made with grated coconut, panela and sometime lemon or orange juice, cinnamon and typical of Caribe coast.
3. Merengon
Meringe or suspiro base, whipped cream and fruit. Typical of the eastern Andes.
France Guayana:
1. Dous Maniac
A type of sweetened casseiva puree mixed with grated coconut. Jam-like of coconut.
2. Coconut flan
Made with coconut milk, eggs and sugar similar to the traditional plan.
3. Catalinas
Cookies filled with wheat flour, coconut and sweet spices.
Chile:
1. Chilenitos
Little pastries filleds with dulce de leche and covered with beaten egg yolk and sugar.
2. Calzones rotos
Fried sweet dough sprinkled with sugar.
3. Alfajores
Cookies filled with dulce de leche.
Brazil:
1. Brigadeiro
A chocolate maked with condensed milk, coconut powder, covered in butter and chocolate chips.
2. Pe-de-moleque
A crunchy sweet made with roasted peanuts and sugar, sometimes with molasses, similar to nougat.
3. Rabana
French toorst made with friend milk bread and then covered in syrup.
