RAW BLOOD IGUANA SOUP Don't look inside the bowl.

Ingredients
1 Iguana (Green is best) ;)
1 Cup of fresh blood from the same iguana, yucca, or green plantain
White and long onion
Crushed garlic
Salt to taste
1 Cup of hot chili and herbs...
Preparation
Hunting the iguana
Cut off its head and collect its blood in a clean container.
Clean it with hot water to remove the skin and scales.
Basic Cooking
In a pot, sauté garlic and onion and boil with a little fat or butter.
Add the chopped iguana meat.
Cover with water and let it boil until the meat is tender.
Add the raw blood
Very important: Wait for the broth
to be hot but not boiling.
.Pour the blood onto fine ice while stirring to prevent it from clotting.
Serve hot, with hot pepper or chicha, if desired.
